To ensure business continuity, Smoothwall offers a variety of hardware and software support packages on all hardware appliances.
SmoothWall recommends that hardware appliances should be covered by an Advance Replacement contract, which provides same day shipment of a replacement appliance if the supported unit is diagnosed as faulty before 12 noon Monday to Friday (excepting public holidays). This service is only available in the United States and the European Union.
All hardware appliances are covered by 12 months Return to Base Warranty. Units returned to SmoothWall under the terms of this warranty will be repaired, returned or replaced within 10 working days of receipt at the SmoothWall repair center. After the first 12 months the warranty can be extended on a yearly basis.
